We got spirit! Yeah yeah we got SPIRIT!

New post alert!!!!! Real update coming soon!!! I just got back yesterday night from a fantastic AIESEC conference; it was exhausting and frustrating and wonderful and inspiring and everything a conference should be. But I'm so tired now! I just wrote a bunch of introspective nonsense about AIESEC, and I'm going to look over it later and then post it. And I'm sorry that I never write anything....I am in a perpetual state of being sleepy and having too much poli sci reading to do. But! I will post about Turkey soon also, and hopefully I'll have some adventures in the near future to write about. Hugs and kisses!

All you need is love!

Man, so today I got all ambitious and decided to watch movie trailers on apple.com. Big mistake, since I fell in love with a ton of movies.....included are quite a lot of creepy looking movies, and a fantastic looking one called Feast of Love. You should honestly check out the trailer, because although it started out slow, it kind of totally grew on me and I really want to see it. That, and Across the Universe. Man!

Also, after that, I went and downloaded several dance remixes of Madonna songs. Mostly 'Like a Prayer'. It is so good! Things are great. Here are some great things: I'm going to Turkey in a week and one day! I'm also probably going camping in the desert this weekend--with a really nice group of people! This is a big deal, because I didn't want to go with a big group that I didn't really know that well, but these kids are really awesome and I'm glad they like me! I'm so sappy.

Today I started listening to 'Jump' by Girls Aloud, and that made me think of Love Actually, and that made me get in a really good and Christmas-y mood. Over Christmas break, I think we should all have a tv marathon, and watch Alias and The OC and similarly fantastic things.

I really should be talking about Cairo more. Let's see....men stare all the damn time! Serious. Maybe I just really started noticing it recently? Also, the fact that this weekend I went to Khan al-Khalili at night and ended up, with my three friends, being pretty much the only noticeably non-Egyptians there. And that place was packed. We were quite a spectacle! I feel bad; my friend told me later that some woman slapped her husband because he was staring at us. Crap.....

Ok I don't know what I'm going to do now, but I figure it should be something productive. Not that I can get much work done with the huge group of Egyptian guys that just set up camp behind me in the QUITE EMPTY courtyard and proceeded to start talking really loudly. They are really awkwardly close to me. And then one of the custodians just came up and is taking a really long time sweeping by my chair. And now some dude is yelling at someone. I don't even know. I really don't even want to turn around and see what's going on, because that will undoubtedly get me stared at. Whatever!

Love and kisses!
